WYSTAWA KATEDRY GRAFIKI W RZESZOWIE / FOTORELACJA

9. kwietnia 2026 roku w Galerii Wydziału Sztuk Pięknych na Uniwersytecie Rzeszowskim im. prof. Włodzimierza Kotkowskiego (al. mjr. W. Kopisto 2a) odbyło się otwarcie wystawy Katedry Grafiki Wydział Sztuk Pięknych UMK w Toruniu, której kuratorem jest prof. Mirosław Pawłowski.
Wystawa jest czynna do 26.04.2026 roku.

Wystawa - wpisuje się w projekt Grafika UMK: „Współczesna Grafika Warsztatowa”, który prezentuje aktualne trendy w obszarze grafiki warsztatowej.  Projekt realizowany jest na zasadzie wymiany wystaw między Katedrą Grafiki WSzP UMK w Toruniu a Akademiami Sztuk Pięknych w Polsce oraz uniwersyteckimi ośrodkami kształcenia artystycznego i szkołami artystycznymi w kraju i za granicą.

Toruńska Katedra Grafiki rozpoczęła działalność w maju 1946 roku. Jej pierwszym kierownikiem był profesor Jerzy Hoppen, a skład Kadry – podobnie jak w przypadku reszty Wydziału Sztuk Pięknych Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu – w dużej mierze stanowili pracownicy, którzy po wojnie przybyli z Uniwersytetu Stefana Batorego w Wilnie.
Obecny kształt Katedry Grafiki jest efektem osiemdziesięciu lat rozwoju i różnorodnych przemian. Wypracowana w tym czasie postawa artysty-grafika, łączącego dbałość o doskonałość rzemiosła warsztatowego z kulturą i edukacją uniwersytecką, to rezultat pracy wielu osób – profesorów, artystów, pedagogów a także pracowników technicznych.
Stworzyli oni warunki sprzyjające kształtowaniu świadomości artystycznej zarówno studentów, jak i wykładowców. Ten wielowymiarowy proces, obejmujący przekazywanie wiedzy o technikach i środkach, predyspozycjach warunkujących wybór odpowiednich metod twórczych, ich wartościowania i oceniania i wielu innych aspektach, został wypracowany i stał się fundamentem rozwoju.

W wystawie biorą udział wykładowcy, doktoranci, studenci i absolwenci Katedry Grafiki:
Tomasz Barczyk, Marek Basiul, Kornelia Borowska Beszta, Oksana Budna-Kaczor, Filip Bujak, Agata Bużyńska, Piotr Czyż, Agata Dworzak-Subocz, Piotr Gojowy, Jakub Jaszewski, Jagoda Jaworska, Zuzanna Kocińska, Agata Krankowska, Alicja Lasota, Dawid Andrzej Ławicki, Zdzisław Mackiewicz, Anna Mandziak, Karol Michalski, Andżelika Miszczuk, Albert Piotrowski-Pawlikowski, Michał Rygielski, Dagmara Sadowska, Wiktoria Sendurkiewicz, Maja Stawicka Pipowska, Jakub Wawrzak, Agnessa Yukhnovich, Marek Zajko, Maja Zielaskowska, Roksana Żelazkiewicz

W kontekście współczesnej grafiki pojawiło się jakiś czas temu, określenie „toruńska szkoła grafiki”, które jest owocem tego wieloletniego procesu. Tradycję tę staramy się pielęgnować i rozwijać. Prace pedagogów oraz studentów Katedry Grafiki stanowią w pewnym sensie ilustrację tych ideałów. Łączą one dbałość o kunszt warsztatowy i wysoką jakość rzemiosła, będącego podstawowym i uniwersalnym środkiem budowania przekazu artystycznego.
