Art Conservation and Restoration – a master’s degree programme offering education in modern methods of research and conservation of artworks. The programme provides three specialisations: Conservation and Restoration of Paintings and Polychrome Sculpture, Conservation and Restoration of Stone Sculpture and Architectural Detail, and Conservation and Restoration of Paper and Leather. The curriculum combines artistic training in historical media and techniques, research and reconstruction of old masters’ methods, contemporary conservation practices, as well as knowledge of art history, material science, and laboratory analysis of artworks.
Art Criticism – a bachelor’s degree programme focusing on the history of art criticism and theory, developing students’ skills in theoretical reflection on art in a global context. The curriculum includes analysis of architecture, painting, sculpture, design, graphics, photography, new media, and contemporary visual culture. Courses explore various perspectives in contemporary art and culture, such as gender and feminist studies, psychology of art, and the presence of art in television and the Internet. Students gain practical experience in art and cultural institutions through museum classes and internships.
Art History – a two-cycle degree programme (bachelor’s and master’s levels) offering a broad overview of art history from antiquity to the 21st century. Students study architecture, sculpture, painting, graphics, handicrafts, photography, new media, and cultural processes. The programme emphasises interdisciplinarity, diverse perspectives, and academic rigour. Students develop their research skills through seminars, lectures, discussions, electives, practical classes, language classes and participation in students’ academic societies.
Graphic Art – a master’s degree programme in the field of art, offering two specialisations: Printmaking and Graphic Design. The programme prepares students for artistic and professional work in traditional printmaking techniques (relief, intaglio, and planographic printing), contemporary digital technologies used in 3D graphics, animation, visual communication, poster and book design, corporate identity, cultural event branding, illustration, lettering, and typography.
Interior Design – a master’s degree programme in the field of art, with a practical profile, preparing students for professional work in interior design and the creation of functional objects. In addition to courses in design, digital tools, art education, and art theory, the programme includes professional internships in design studios and other industry-related workplaces and institutions.
Media Arts and Visual Education – a two-cycle degree programme (3-year bachelor’s and 2-year master’s level), offering two specialisations: Multimedia and Photography, and Drawing-Based Media. It combines classical fine arts education with modern training in photography, intermedia, drawing, graphic design, computer animation, video and audio production, advertising, web design, and visual education. Students also explore visual culture, art perception, and educational standards in the arts.
Painting – a master’s degree programme offering two specialisations: Easel Painting and Painting in Architecture (including mural painting, stained glass, or artistic glass). Students gain knowledge and skills in both traditional and contemporary painting techniques and technologies. The programme also includes courses in the history and traditions of fine arts, the history of philosophy and aesthetics, and cultural sociology.
Protection of Cultural Heritage – a two-cycle degree programme (bachelor’s and master’s levels) focusing on heritage studies, conservation science, and museum studies. It offers two specialisations: Conservation science and Monument studies and museology. The programme prepares specialists in heritage protection and cultural heritage management. Students learn to create expert documentation of heritage objects using traditional and digital photography and technical drawings. The programme covers urban heritage, legal regulations on heritage protection, and the history of applied arts. Students explore European and non-European art objects, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, furniture, and goldsmithery.
